If you’re vacationing in Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Riviera Maya, or other resort destination in the Yucatan region, do some offshore fishing in the splendid Caribbean Sea. The charter departs from the Cancun docks, but we can also provide round trip transportation from other resort locales in the Yucatan region at an additional price. Our knowledgeable English-speaking skipper, Orlando Duran, will transport your party to the best fishing locales in the region. Capt. Orlando knows the regional waters like the back of his hand. He’ll use that knowledge to find the prime places to do deepwater trolling, light tackle casting, or bottom fishing. He will consider the weather, currents, tide, and the time of year in order to find the best places to fish. If there are beginning anglers in your group, Captain Orlando can teach them all they need to know. Even if you extensive experience fishing, Orlando will give you plenty of advice on how to enhance your angling skill.

There are plentiful game fish to catch off Cancun, including dolphin fish (dorado), grouper, amberjacks, snapper, tuna, sharks, wahoo, barracuda, and billfish, including white marlin, blue marlin, and sailfish.

Atlantic Sailfish are long sleek-bodied billfish with a massive dorsal fin that looks like the raised sail of a skipjack. These fighting pelagic species hit their peak in the spring and early summer months. This species are renowned for their fighting spirit once hooked, so be ready to buckle yourself into a fighting chair to reel in a prized trophy. Sailfish can grow to lengths of nine feet.
