The bountiful waters off the Yucatan Peninsula are full of a wide variety of sporting fish species, including seasonal pelagic fish that can be caught while trolling the deep water channels, and other species that can be caught off-shore as well as near reef structure.

During the springtime and through the summer, dorado (dolphin fish or mahi mahi), blue marlin, black-fin tuna, white marlin, and sailfish hit peak season. Most of the year, species like sharks, barracuda amberjacks, bonito, wahoo, and grouper can be caught. Whether you prefer to do some deep water trolling, fishing off the bottom, or reef fishing with light tackle, our English-fluent captain can guide you on a fun and successful Caribbean expedition. Our crew is pleased to offer tips and advice to anglers on this off shore adventure.

You will find plenty of amenities aboard the Chutzpah, a thirty-four foot Phoenix sport-fishing vessel; it is equipped with navigational, fish-finding, communication, and entertainment electronics in addition to the best tourney-level fishing gear, including Shimano and Penn rods and reels. The air-conditioned interior and convenient restroom ensure that your party of eight anglers is completely comfortable on this excursion. The Chutzpah is also has a fly bridge, twin fish-fighting chairs, out-riggers and down-riggers.
